Portrait of Holly's Cakes Owner - Holly Worthington

Holly Worthington

Starting out in Ohio and now based in the Upstate of South Carolina, Holly is committed to not only her faith and family, but her passion in the world of edible art.  She has created works of art that not only look great, but taste incredible as well.  She has accomplished her goal with this vision: “Started out by word of mouth and once you taste them, you’ll know why”.

Holly has put together her most talented team to date that share that same vision, who is taking Holly’s Cakes to the next level in the pastry world.

Virginia Rodriguez

Originally from Cuba and moving to Miami at age 4, Virginia found her way to South Carolina in 2005 with her family, escaping Miami’s hurricanes. They amusingly acquired a cat that came with a house, not far from the bakery where Virginia would shine. As the engaging face and voice of our client communications, she’s the information hub, expertly navigating the details of cake design and decoration. With her own cake decorating talents, Virginia is hands-on and invaluable, especially in managing bilingual interactions for events within our local Latin community. Her journey complements our mission to create edible art that’s as delightful to taste as it is to behold.

THE PROCESS

Your Next Steps to Your
Custom Wedding Cake

STEP ONE

STEP TWO

STEP THREE

a
01

Tell Us About You

Begin by gathering your wedding cake design ideas and photographs. It's important to also include details such as the location, ceremony time, and the expected number of servings. This preparation allows us to tailor a proposal that perfectly matches your special day's requirements.

02

Attend a Monthly Tasting

The second step invites you to experience our flavors firsthand at a monthly cake tasting event, hosted by our team in Greenville and Anderson. These gatherings are designed with staggered arrival times to ensure a personalized experience. For those unable to join our next complimentary event, an alternative arrangement can be made to pick up sample packs. These packs, featuring our popular flavors, are provided complimentary for weddings hosting 100 guests or more, allowing you to enjoy a taste of our offerings at your convenience.

03

Finalize and Book

The final step involves scheduling a complimentary custom cake consultation, should you desire a personalized discussion about your cake. This meeting can be conducted virtually, allowing both you and your fiancé to participate from anywhere. To secure your wedding date, we request a retainer of $200, which will be applied towards the final cost of your cake. Full payment is due 30 days before the wedding. Please note, this retainer is non-refundable and non-transferable.

The Holly Difference

What sets us apart is our attention to detail and commitment to making your special occasions unforgettable. To ensure that your celebration remains memorable, we provide a separate boxed anniversary cake, ready for the freezer, complete with instructions for proper thawing. Additionally, we leave a container at your event for the cake cutter, allowing for samplings of each cake flavor to be enjoyed on the wedding night, along with a box for any leftovers. Our services include the use of most bases and displays without any rental fee. Our patented insulated transport box guarantees the safe arrival of your cake, protecting it from the sun, wind, and foreign objects. This innovation is so reliable that even a 6-tier cake can be delivered perfectly to destinations as challenging as the Cliffs or Table Rock.

Beyond traditional cakes, we offer alternative cake and dessert table options to suit every taste. Our operations are fully licensed, inspected, and insured, ensuring professionalism and peace of mind. Leading our team is a Pastry Chef from New York, whose expertise and passion for pastry elevate our offerings to the highest standards.
